mem 2 final draft
Trip
to Indiana
We heard yelling down stairs we all
ran down as fast as we could! My parents were looking at us with
excitement we are flying to indiana!To me and my siblings this was
exciting. We never flew in a plane, and it would be the first time
we've seen our family in years. The day after christmas of 2007-2008
we flew to Indiana. During The flight my MP3 broke so I had nothing
to do for 3 hours. When we finally landed in Chicago my sister
Olivia was so excited Hey Isaac I sat next to someone who was in
the olympics. We walked around the airport for a while until we saw
my grandparents waiting for us. All my sibling started to scream and
run toward them. When I finally got over there the others had calmed
down and my little cousin Josia gave me a big hug, and said I have
not seen you guys in forever. Then we all got inside my grandparent's
bus. Since we were in chicago it was a long drive to Indiana, by the
time we were at the house everyone was asleep but my grandpa who was
driving.
The next morning we had a
big breakfast ,then we had to go to my other grandparents house my
grandpa races with horses, and he let us go see the horses. Then we
had to go to a family reunion in about 5 other places with people I
did not even know were related to me. I met friends from first grade
and kindergarden and played our favorite game together, basketball,
along with my 5'9 14 year old cousin. Then we went to visit Josia's
brother Chad and his sister Brittany since me and chad are the same
age, and Brittany being a little older we all played air soft gun
wars. Then went in side and played his wii and PS3. I spent the
night there. The next morning there was about 4 feet of snow. Which
caused my parents to get stuck in the driveway. When we got back it
was time for church. My grandpa is a pastor like my dad. After church
my cousin Brittany, who should not have here license crashed into a
snow bank because my cousin chad dared her to use it as a ramp.
On
New Years eve me and my parents went to a new years eve party. I met
some friends that I have not seen in years I played cards with a
bunch of people. I played golf, poker, apples to apples, Etc. Me and
my friend mike played some kind of tank game till it was 10 seconds
before new years so we had to run up from the basement quickly we
got there when it was at 5 seconds just and after that everyone
started to leave so we had to leave. The next morning we went to my
cousins church for a late christmas party me and my cousins ben and
alex were playing hide and go seek in the church the church was huge
and we opened presents and had some laughs some food and family
fun.
The
family fun seemed as if it would never end until that one day.
Then the saddest part came the
goodbye party everyone was there. After shrimp and cake it was time
to go. My family and I new it would come ,and thats is what is hard
about visiting my family in Indiana we live so far away and it
devastates my grandparents my cousins and my family the flight home
was awful too because the people i sat next to are mean. When we
finally got home it was about 1in the morning and we all went to bed
remembering the fun times in Indiana and with my family.
